What makes it different
How the permanent programme, editions, missions and Earth application connect.
Continuity organizes learning
Mars Challenge is the permanent platform. An edition brings together a time-bound question and missions; the experience describes participant activity. This separation preserves knowledge and projects when the edition changes.
Four connected pillars
Earth-Back Thinking connects contexts; Agency guides responsible decisions; Real-Life Readiness connects learning with real situations; Next Human Learning invites reflection on learning. These pillars form a conceptual framework observable in questions, decisions and documented projects.
The final and the journey
The Grand Jam is the related international final event. Competition sits within Experience. Understanding the programme also involves research, collaboration, tests and the return to Earth before and after presentation.
