Cookie and external services policy
Updated 9 October 2026 · Version 2.0
What is stored in your browser and how to control this website’s optional services.
1. Controller and scope
Asociación Virtual Educa, NIF G83519769, Calle Princesa 31, planta 2, pta 2, Madrid 28008 - España. Privacy contact: info@virtualeduca.org. This information applies to the Mars Challenge website, including The Grand Jam 2026, in ES, PT and EN.
2. Cookies and local storage
Google Analytics 4 uses optional analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_9D6VFJ1P57) only after acceptance. Tag G-9D6VFJ1P57 measures visits and pages viewed. Advertising and advertising personalization remain disabled. Necessary mars-language and mars-cookie-consent preferences remain in your browser.
3. Necessary preference inventory
mars-language: first-party local storage remembering your selected language; remains until you remove it in the browser. mars-cookie-consent: first-party local storage containing policy version, Google Analytics and Google Fonts decisions, date and expiry; a decision is considered valid for 180 days. Expiry or a version change triggers a new request for a decision. These entries remain in the browser and are not sent to a server by this mechanism.
4. Optional service: Google Fonts
Final event pages may load Google Fonts. The connection may share technical data such as IP and browser information with Google and involve international processing. This service is blocked until you accept it; if you reject or make no choice, system fonts are used and the website remains accessible. Google Fonts is an external typography service, not described as an advertising cookie. Provider information: https://developers.google.com/fonts/faq/privacy.
5. Accept, reject or change
Accept optional and Reject optional have equal visibility. You can change your choice through Cookie settings in the footer. Rejection keeps Google Analytics and Google Fonts blocked. Withdrawing permission stops new loads initiated by this mechanism but does not erase data already received by the provider. Browsing, scrolling or leaving the notice open is not consent. Rejection does not restrict access.
6. Territorial scope and limitations
The same control is offered to all visitors without IP geolocation. The preference is shared between languages on the same domain but is not synchronised across domains, browsers or devices. If storage is blocked, the choice applies to the current page and the notice may reappear. Without JavaScript, Google Analytics and Google Fonts stay blocked.
7. Forms, links and providers
Forms are sent to Formspree only when you submit them. Links to Instagram, calendars and other websites open services with their own policies when you visit them. The font choice does not prevent form submission or visiting those links. This implementation controls website code; it does not guarantee the absence of technical logs, security cookies or technologies the hosting provider may set outside that code. Their inventory and agreements require provider verification.
8. Changes and privacy
Adding analytics, advertising, videos or new integrations requires an updated inventory, policy and prior blocking; version 2 requests consent for Google Analytics and Google Fonts; a previous choice does not activate Analytics. The Privacy policy contains information about rights, purposes, retention and providers. The organisation has confirmed validation of the legal and contractual review.
9. Optional service: Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4, provided by Google, measures visits and use of pages. Consent is the basis for activating this measurement. The tag does not load before acceptance or after rejection. Cookies _ga and _ga_9D6VFJ1P57 are configured to expire within 390 days without automatic renewal. Your consent choice expires after 180 days. This integration does not send names, emails or form content; URL query parameters and fragments are omitted from measured URLs. Technical data processed by Google and transfers follow the applicable provider terms: https://policies.google.com/privacy. You can withdraw consent through Cookie settings; measurement is disabled and removal of these domain cookies is attempted. Data already received by Google is not deleted.
Google Tag Manager
Google Tag Manager (GTM-TCNCSJ5G) loads when pages open, including its no-JavaScript iframe alternative. This connection shares technical data, such as IP and browser information, with Google before the cookie choice. Loading the container is distinct from activating Google Analytics: this website’s GA4 measurement remains blocked until optional services are accepted. Future container tags must respect the choice and have their purposes covered by this policy.
